Creative Directors/Co-founders of Martini Sisters

Giada e Flavia Martini

Martini Sisters’ mission is to give value to Made in Italy, Italian style and Italian craftsmanship. The first product in their line, the leather bracelet, is 100% Made in Italy.

Giada and Flavia are from Tuscany, Italy. Born in Siena, on the same day and month just a few years apart, the sisters have always been extremely close.

The Val d’Orcia leather bracelet is named after the picturesque area in Tuscany where the girls were raised. Tuscany is not only their homeland, but has been the heart of leather craftsmanship since the end of the Second World War.

Flavia and Giada are ambassadors of the priceless beauty of their region: the treasures found inside artisan’s small workshops, the goldsmiths’ art, and the skillful use of precious stones.

Giada Martini

Giada has been an actress and model since she was very little. After getting her degree at University of Bologna, she worked as a stylist, then in movie production and music supervision. After some years in London, where she continued her studies, Giada now lives in Rome. She collaborates with brands and Institutions, she recently created a project for the Italian official cinema museum, and developed a university course titled: ``Made in Italy: A Culture of Excellence``. She is an expert in gems, and loves art direction and jewelry design.

Flavia Martini

Flavia Martini

Flavia obtained her Master's Degree in Pharmacy from the University of Siena. Currently living in Napa, in the heart of California wine country, she collaborates with Italian and foreign brands to develop their market presence. Flavia is an ambassador and stylist with a particular devotion to promoting Italy and emphasizing Made in Italy. Recognized for her empathic nature and innate aesthetic sense, she has always had a passion for style, fashion, and lifestyle/wellness.

Heritage and Legacy

The idea to create their brand was born when the two sisters were working together in a very important foundation of fashion and costumes in Rome.

After extensive research, the idea for the bracelet emerged on October 13, 2018. This was the date many years before when the first Martini sister was born. Dying in childhood, she still lives on in her family’s hearts.

Everything started when Giada designed the first artistic drawings and progressively, the project started to take shape. Flavia and Giada designed the leather bracelet and followed all the phases from the beginning to the end.

Research on the details, the color of the geometric shapes, the quality, the selection of skilled Tuscan artisans, and the union between history and innovation makes the bracelet distinct.

Cuori logo

The three intertwining gold hearts engraved in the leather represent the sisters’ union. The three hearts together take the shape of a crown.

The circle of the medal is a symbol of harmony and eternity. The letters F and G are the initials of Flavia and Giada. The star symbolizes light, hope, intelligence, and research of life that rises upwards. After all, Dante Alighieri, with the word “stars” indicated the connection between the Divine and human destiny.

The black Swarovski stone under the star symbolizes protection. The overall design suggests a precious accessory to always carry with you.

Flavia and Giada created this jewelry for women who love Italian style. Very soon they will create also a product for men who love Italian craftmanship.

For a personal touch, every Val d’Orcia bracelet is named to honor the strong, sensitive, and romantic women of the Martini family – mother, grandmothers, ancestors.

With their original products Giada and Flavia want to underscore the strong link between the past, present, and future: there is no future without the memory of the past and our traditions, that have to light up the roads to take.
